The Wesley Connect program serves those in our city who are facing hardship, crisis, homelessness, or other severe challenges. From the Wesley Centre, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, friendly staff and volunteers connect with people in need in and around Sydney city.
Our focus is ‘Care’
Wesley Connect is run primarily by friendly volunteers from our congregations who are always ready to connect and have a chat, and, if possible, assist with additional support where needed.
Our volunteers have a huge heart for helping people and are trained to treat every single person with dignity, respect and kindness.
The team at Wesley Connect aims to provide connection and community to people facing hardship and may also help with accessing additional support both within and outside Wesley Mission including emergency accommodation and Wesley Financial Counselling.
Wesley Connect is in the Wesley Centre, 220 Pitt Street, Sydney. The closest train stations are Town Hall and St James, with many bus stops on nearby streets.
Wesley Connect has grown a lot since it started so we are currently taking a break to refresh the way we connect with our community. Over the next several weeks we will be investing in and working on some exciting revisions in preparation for phase two of Wesley Connect. We thank you for your patience as we improve this special program.
