Wesley Connect Food & Care

The Wesley Connect food and care program serves those in our city who are facing hardship, crisis, homelessness, or other severe challenges. From the Wesley Centre, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, friendly staff and volunteers connect with people in need in and around Sydney city.

How Wesley Connect works

Our focus is ‘Care’

Wesley Connect is run primarily by friendly volunteers from our congregations who are always ready to have a chat, and assist with emergency food relief and essential items where needed.

Our volunteers have a huge heart for helping people and are trained to treat every single person with dignity, respect and kindness.

Wesley Connect does not provide food vouchers but can help with emergency food items that have been donated to the program, such as canned goods and other basic essential items.

The team at Wesley Connect can also provide information about additional support services, both within and outside Wesley Mission including emergency accommodation and Wesley Financial Counselling.

Wesley Connect is in the Wesley Centre, 220 Pitt Street, Sydney. The closest train stations are Town Hall and St James, with many bus stops on nearby streets.

  • Tuesday: 10 am – 1 pm | 2 – 4 pm
