Wesley School for Seniors
Wesley School for Seniors offers learning opportunities for people over 55 years old to help you learn new skills and socialise in an environment that is safe and supportive.
In-person classes delayed
In view of the current circumstances and the ongoing health orders, our in-person classes are delayed until Tuesday 5 October 2021. We aim to resume enrolments on Monday 30 August for Term 4 and will keep you updated on any changes. If we are able to welcome in-person classes back sooner, we will plan a series of workshops before this date.
There will be a credit applied to students who are currently enrolled for in-person classes for Term 3. If you would like to discuss your fee payments for this term, have questions or need support, feel free to contact us on (02) 9263 5416.
Resuming online classes
As of Monday 12 July 2021, we have resumed online classes remotely via Zoom and added a few more classes with 18 engaging options to choose from. To secure your place or to add a new class, enrol here.
About the school
There are more than 90 courses offered at Wesley School for Seniors covering a diverse range of learning experiences, with different levels of learning available from beginner through to advanced.
Classes are held Monday to Friday at Wesley Mission’s Wesley Centre in Sydney’s CBD, and on various days at Alan Walker Village in Carlingford. Each term, approximately 450 students aged 55 years and over attend classes.
The range of subjects offered and the quality of teaching make it a cutting-edge centre for learning. Teachers and instructors volunteer their time and bring a wealth of experience from their field of expertise—some are retired university lecturers, whilst others have been craftspeople for many years.
