An alternative gift to chocolate this Easter

13 March 2018 Wesley Mission news

Easter is the most widely celebrated event on the Christian calendar. It is also a time when many of us join together with our families and friends. For some, it is also a time of overindulgence in chocolate as we give and receive Easter treats with the people we love.

While, giving shows God’s love and is an Easter tradition that should continue, Wesley Mission know while people are at home eating hot cross buns and eggs this Easter, more than 100,000 Australians won’t have a place to call home and many others will be alone. Seeking hope in loneliness.

This Easter, visit the Wesley Gift Shop and give your loved ones a meaningful gift that will make a real difference to the life of a person.

Gifts include the gift of breakfast to a child who would otherwise go without and phone credit so a person who is homeless can stay in touch with their loved ones. What’s more, with prices starting from $5, you can afford to include a small chocolate with these gifts.

The Wesley Gift Shop can send a card to your loved one via email or provide you with a print at home version to give to them in person.
