Summer 2016: Changing Lives
In 2016, we helped more than 5,000 vulnerable families, answered almost 40,000 crisis calls and provided more than 107,000 nights of accommodation to people experiencing homelessness. This would not have been possible without the generosity and compassion of our supporters, and we are so grateful for their commitment to helping people in need.
In this issue of Wesley Impact! news, you can read more about our impact in the community in 2016 through the outcomes shared in our annual report and incredible personal stories of people who have made significant changes in their lives. You can read Cindy’s story of experiencing homelessness with her children and the help she received at Wesley Noreen Towers, Mitch’s story of overcoming a crippling addiction to ice at Wesley Hospital Kogarah and about Wesley Volunteers of the Year Brian and Kaye’s commitment to caring for children in need.
