Winter 2016: People deserve a place to call home
Every day, Wesley Mission reaches out to the most vulnerable members of our society. By delivering services that address the needs of the whole person, not just their current challenges, we can help people in need to rebuild their lives and regain their independence.
In this issue of Wesley Impact! news, you can read Tina’s story. The death of Tina’s partner left her homeless and grieving, but with the support of Wesley Mission, she was able to achieve her goal of living in a home of her own and giving back to the community. You can also read about the recent Responsible Gambling Awareness Week campaign to encourage open and honest conversations about problem gambling, Susan and Zachary’s story of the big difference that Wesley Disability Services made to their whole family, how young parents Khale and Keira-lee achieved their dream of living independently as family with their daughter, and the latest blog article from the Rev Keith V Garner, AM, about the importance of mentoring.
