Keith's message: The living bread

In this episode Rev Keith Garner reads from John 6:60-69 reminding ourselves that the dominant theme has been that of Jesus Christ as the bread of life.

"On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”
Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you? Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[a] and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.”
For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.
He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”

"As an evangelist I've known what it is to call people to follow Jesus Christ, and I feel that one of the things I wanted to is consider very carefully what this discipleship is going to mean in your life, if you're going to follow Him, its going to demand things, its going to call for things, its going to challenge you, its going to test you, its going to push you more to the parameters of living life for Jesus..."
