Wesley Impact! TV: Give your plans to God

24 December 2018 Wesley Impact! TV

In this final episode of Wesley Impact! TV for 2018, Rev Keith Garner speaks to us from the scene of the 105th Wesley Fair in downtown Sydney, our annual fundraiser to support the work of Wesley Mission.

Throughout the episode, Rev Garner will look back on the highlights of 2018 for Wesley Mission, while also looking forward to what God has in store for the year ahead.

As he does, Rev Garner will speak with Vanessa Daniels about Wesley Mission’s work with the homeless, and Nigel Lindsay, who will share some of the plans for Wesley Mission’s work with families and foster children.

We’ll also be joined by Joel Howard as he sings ‘Forever’, accompanied by the Wesley Impact! Band.

As we look forward to the new year in today’s episode of Wesley Impact! TV, Rev Keith Garner interviews two members of the Wesley Mission team, Vanessa Daniels and Nigel Lindsay.

Interview: Vanessa Daniels

Vanessa Daniels speaks to Rev Garner about the life-changing work being done at Edward Eager Lodge, and some exciting plans for 2019 to help care for more people experiencing homelessness in Sydney.

“I'm very excited”, said Vanessa. “I think it's been a long time coming, and it's really another way of placing value and dignity on the people that are living there”.

Interview: Nigel Lindsay

Rev Garner will also speak to Nigel Lindsay about some of the many ways Wesley Mission will be seeking to care for families and foster children in the year ahead.

Guest performer: Joel Howard

For this year’s final episode of Wesley Impact! TV, Joel Howard is with us once again to sing a wonderful original song called ‘Forever’. As Joel performs for us, he will be accompanied by Craig Gower and the Wesley Impact! Band.

Keith's message: Looking forward to 2019

As the year draws to a close, Rev Keith Garner invites you to pause and reflect on the way God has blessed you throughout the ups and downs of the year gone by.

No matter whether you’ve had a difficult or joyous time this year, Rev Garner encourages us to put our trust in God for the year ahead, knowing that he works all things for the good of those who love him.

“As we look to the future, let's make our own choice that we are going to place our hands into the hands of God, to place our lives into His pathway and see what the future really holds for us.”
