Wesley Impact! TV: Praising from the Heart

This week on Wesley Impact! TV, we’re thinking and reflecting on the place of praise in each of our lives. Rev Keith Garner, reading from Ephesians 5, explains how praise belongs in our regular day-to-day lives as much as it does on worship music stages – a vital point given current COVID-19 restrictions.

Also on the show, we welcome renowned worship leader and songwriting pioneer Darlene Zschech who discusses her journey with cancer, highlights from leading worship around the world, and her passion for bringing hope to other people through music. Rev Garner and Darlene discuss the ministry of helping people praise God in their hearts, and her musical upbringing.

Finally, Darlene lends her voice to the show, joining Luke Taylor to sing the song ‘I Speak Jesus’ – feel free to join in from wherever you are.

At the moment, worshiping God takes a different form to usual. While we cannot sing in church together, it’s still very important to continue praising in our hearts each and every day.

Today on Wesley Impact! TV, Rev Keith Garner interviews Darlene Zschech about her career as a renowned singer and worship leader. Darlene shares how her ministry brings hope to people all around the world, and talks to the impact of Christian music in the darkest times for people.

Darlene is a wonderful witness to the work of God in her life, and we’re glad to have her on the show this week to encourage each of us with word and song!

Reading from Ephesians 5, Rev Garner helps us to see how praising God is something we can do in many different ways, and helps to lift us up and change us to be more like him.
