Wesley Impact! TV: Putting Aside Disappointment

Today Wesley Impact! TV, Rev Garner shares a personal experience from his earlier life, and how it relates to our next word in the Christian vocabulary: guidance. A more difficult topic than some, Rev Garner takes us through Isaiah 30 and helps us to understand when God’s hand is on each of our lives.

Rev Garner is also joined on the show by elite athlete, human rights activist and evangelist Eloise Wellings, in a 2014 interview. Eloise has a fascinating perspective on hard work, care for others, and how her faith relates to her actions.

And finally, Deb Ezzy-Walton brings us the encouraging song ‘I Still Believe’, recorded live in the Wesley Impact! studios.

Interview: Eloise Wellings

Eloise Wellings’ athletic career began in sadness, with an injury forcing her out of the Sydney Olympics. Rather than letting it put her down, she turned her energy towards human rights and evangelism alongside a successful athletic career.

On today’s episode of Wesley Impact! TV, Eloise Wellings shares with Rev Keith Garner how she came to faith, and how that changed the entire trajectory of her life, taking her all around the world.

Eloise speaks of her foundation, the Love Mercy Foundation, and the ways it’s working to help people as well as share the gospel with others.
