Interview: Gary Izzard
There are hundreds of people in Sydney who are homeless and in need of a safe place to sleep each night.
That’s why Wesley Mission is currently undertaking a major redevelopment of Edward Eagar Centre, which provides accommodation and support to people experiencing homelessness.
Today on Wesley Impact! TV, Rev Keith Garner is joined by Gary Izzard who is working on this project, seeking the $12 million required for the redevelopment.
“It's a place where humanity meets, and we do really extraordinary work there, and I think it says something profound about an organisation that wants … to put its resources and its energy and its passion into those who are most in need, and that's what we do at the Wesley Eagar Centre,” said Gary.
Guest Performance: Elizabeth Rae — ‘The Room’
Elizabeth Rae wrote her first song when was just eleven years old, and began performing professionally two years later. In today’s episode, she gives a beautiful performance of ‘The Room’.
