Wesley Impact! TV: The power of $500

In this week's episode of Wesley Impact! TV, you’ll be encouraged as the Rev Keith Garner opens God’s word to talk about the hope we have from God even in difficult times.

Rev Garner also speaks to Meredith Scott, the CEO of Opportunity International Australia. Her organization provides micro loans to people in poverty in Asia to help them start businesses, and her conversation with Rev Garner about how this works is fascinating.

Plus, we hear a special performance from Craig Gower, Deb Ezzy-Walton and the Wesley Impact Band of ‘Raise a Hallelujah’.

Interview: Meredith Scott

Is it possible to change someone’s life forever with just a few hundred dollars? Meredith Scott says yes!

Meredith is the CEO of Opportunity International Australia, an organization that does development work in Asia, seeking to emulate the good Samaritan who crossed physical, emotional and religious barriers to do God’s will.

One of Opportunity’s key programs is providing micro loans to people in poverty. Meredith explains, “these are very small loans that allow people to do something like buy a cow and milk it every morning and afternoon and sell their milk to the co-op, buy some seeds and fertilizer and harvest a crop.”

As Rev Keith Garner interviews Meredith, you’ll learn more about how micro loans can transform the lives of people by providing them with a sustainable source of income – and they have an amazing repayment rate! Tune in for this fascinating discussion.

Guest Performance: Craig Gower and Deb Ezzy-Walton – Raise a Hallelujah

Craig Gower is a professional musician who is passionate about using music to present the Gospel. He’s the Music Director for Wesley Impact! TV, and today he performs ‘Raise a Hallelujah’ with Deb Ezzy-Walton and the Wesley Impact Band.
